Black History Month, celebrated each October in the UK, is a special time to learn about and honour the contributions, culture, and history of Black people in the UK and around the world. For Wren, this is a great opportunity to start understanding important values like equality, respect, kindness, and celebrating diversity. Introducing our children to black history helps foster a sense of inclusion and pride in all backgrounds.

We had an amazing response last year and we have decided to continue this year and have organised for African Drummers to come into school today. They provided drums for the students to participate and visited learners in their classrooms who would otherwise have missed out!
